FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Softball program announced the addition of four players for the 2027 inaugural Pac-12 season: Brooklyn Giaime, Domina Lowman, Shaelyn Stinson from California, and Bella Corona from Arizona.
BELLA CORONA
A infielder from Tucson Arizona, Bella Corona has lettered in all 3 seasons so far at Marana High School. Corona was named Region Freshman of the Year in 2023, as well as being named First Team All-State and All-Region from 2023 -2025. The team captain was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2025 with an outstanding year at the plate. In her career so far at Marana High, she has 26 home runs. Corona has also excelled in the classroom, being named a scholar athlete all three years so far. She currently plays travel ball for Thundercats NXT, coached by former Arizona player Laura Watson-Espinosa.
BROOKLYN GIAIME
Brooklyn Giaime is a two-way player from San Diego, California who attends Del Norte High School. She was a part of the team that won a league championship, only the third in school history for the sport of softball. Giaime has been named First Team All- Palomar league during her first three years at Del Norte. Giaime has also been named to an All-CIF team, and has been the team's captain the past two years. Giaime helped Del Norte High School reach the CIF open Division Championship and to a runner-up finish in the Southern State Championship. While posting a career 1.83 era as a pitcher with a heavy ball, Giaime is also dominant in the classroom with a 4.24 GPA, helping her receive All-CIF academic honors. Giaime plays club ball for Team San Diego coached by Eddie DeBus.
SHAELYN STINSON
A native of Elk Grove, California, Shaelyn Stinson is a very versatile utility player. Stinson is ranked as a 4-star athlete and is featured in the top 40 OnDeck National Leaderboard. Stinson has been named First Team All-League in her three years so far at Pleasant Grove High School. In 2023, she was named to the Max Preps All-Sac Joaquin Section team, and in 2024 she was named to the Sacramento Bees All-Metro First Team. In 2024 at the Colorado Sparkler, Stinson was in the top 10 for home-to-first with a time of 2.91. Being a Golden glove recipient, Stinson is an exceptional defender. Stinson also excelled in track and field when she was younger, and her speed was on full display when she stole 24 bases as a freshman. Stinson plays travel ball for Foothill Gold Stinson/Watson, coached by JD Stinson and Mark Watson.
DOMINA LOWMAN
Domina Lowman is a first baseman and outfielder from Murrieta, California who will also be a future bulldog. She attends EM sports Academy, a high school that combines academics with elite sports performance training daily. Domina has already passed her bi literacy test for asl, and not only excels on the softball field but also the classroom being named to her high school's honor roll every year. Lowman plays travel ball for Bret Denio Explosion 18U Premier.
