FRESNO, Calif. — Coming off its first road trip of the conference season, Fresno State returns home to host the Silver State's programs in UNLV and Nevada on Thursday and Sunday at Bulldog Soccer Stadium.

Thursday night versus the Rebels is Staff and Faculty Appreciation. All Fresno State staff and faculty will receive free admission. Sunday against the Wolf Pack is Fresno State soccer's alumni day along with its cancer awareness match. All fans wearing pink will get in free.

QUICK LOOK

Facing the top three teams in the conference the past two weeks, the Bulldogs stand at 0-3-1 in Mountain West play.

Fresno State is 3-2-1 at Bulldog Soccer Stadium season.

The Bulldogs entered conference play with the second-best nonconference winning percentage in program history at .688 after posting a 5-2-1 record.

Fresno State is 4-1-2 this season when it is leading or tied at the half.

Scoring eight goals through its first 10 matches, Fresno State produced five in its two games last week. All five scored or assisted by Ciara Wilson.

Wilson leads the team and ranks seventh in goals (5) and fourth in assists (4). Here 14 points is fourth.

With two assists last week, Wilson moved up to No. 8 in program history with 11 in her career.

Kaelyn Miller's goal last Sunday moved her career total to 21, one back of seventh in program history. Her 49 career points moved her into a tie for 10th.

Miller (8) and Wilson (14) own 22 of the Bulldogs' 36 points this season.

SLOWER STARTERS

Picking up just one point in the first two games of Mountain West play hasn't been anything new for Fresno State. In 13 seasons in the league, the Bulldogs have earned just one point or fewer in their first two matches 10 times. Facing the top three teams in the MW standings, Fresno State's one point through their first four matches hasn't happened though.

Fresno State's least amount of points through four matches in its history in the MW is three in 2023. The Bulldogs reached the conference tournament by winning four of its final six matches.

GOALS A PLENTY

Through its first 10 matches, Fresno State had not scored multiple goals in back-to-back games. Last week, the Bulldogs scored three goals on three goals and two goals in its matches.

Fresno State had scored eight goals through its first 10 games but produced five in its last two.

KEEPING THEM CLOSE

Matches tend to be close in soccer and Fresno State's games have lived up to that in 2024. Eleven of the Bulldogs' 12 matches have been played within a goal.

Fresno State is 5-4-2 this season in matches decided by a goal for less.

PACING THE 'DOGS

With 14 points through 12 matches, junior Ciara Wilson has already matched her point total from last season following an eight-point week last week. The 14 points is tied for the fourth-most in the Mountain West.

Wilson's five goals are tied for seventh-most in the MW while her four assists are tied for fourth.

Wilson is second in both categories in conference games, and third in points with eight.

A DISTRIBUTOR

While she has scored a season-high five goals thus far, Ciara Wilson has been the Bulldogs best distributor in her career. With two assists last week, Wilson has 11 in a career which puts her at No. 8 in program history.

MILLER MOVING UP THE RECORD BOOK

Kaelyn Miller scored the winner in Fresno State's 1-0 win at Oregon State. It was the 20th goal of the senior's career, and the ninth-most in program history, passing current Mexico National Team member Myra Delgadillo.

Miller added No. 21 on Oct. 6, moving her within one of seventh. That goal also moved her into a tie for 10th in career points with 49.

Miller has nine game-winners in her career.
