SPOKANE, Wash. - After Kaitlynn Perez set the No. 6 pentathlon mark in program history on Wednesday, Fresno State's distance athletes took to the track to close out the Riverfront Invitational.
Gianna Chiaramonte led a group of Bulldog milers with a personal best of 5:16.62. Ximena Ramos clocked a time of 2:23.04 in the 800 meters and Ella Spaulding went 1:00.97 in the 400 meters.
In the DMR, Chiaramonte and Spaulding joined Shaylee Grimm and Khushleen Khakh. The group placed sixth with a time of 12:40.72.

The Bulldogs will split up again next week, with groups traveling to the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash., and the Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.
