SPOKANE, Wash. – Kaitlynn Perez opened up the Spokane Riverfront and Multis for Fresno State on Wednesday, placing 10th in the pentathlon at The Podium. The senior finished with 3,574 points, moving up to No. 6 on the Bulldogs' all-time list.
Perez saw her top results of the day come in the high jump and 800 meters. The senior took second in the high jump, clearing an indoor best 1.68m/5-6. The height matched her outdoor best.
The Bulldog finished the day with a 2:24.78 in the 800 meters to move up two spots. The time bested both her indoor and outdoor PRs in the event.
Perez surpassed her previous PR in the pentathlon by 270 points.
