FRESNO, Calif. – Isaiah Pope has signed an athletic aid agreement to join the Fresno State men's basketball program starting in the 2023-24 season, Fresno State head coach Justin Hutson announced on Thursday.
Pope comes to California's Central Valley after playing three seasons at Utah Tech (2020-23) and one season at Humboldt State (2019-20). At Utah Tech, Pope played in 79 games with 48 starts.
In 2022-23, Pope averaged 13.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while making 43 percent of his 3-point field goal attempts (51-for-120) and shot 80.1 percent (121-151) from the free throw line.
Pope brings experience and versatility to the Bulldogs' backcourt for the 2023-24 season.
