ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The No. 58-ranked Fresno State women's tennis team lost 4-3 matches to the Air Force Falcons and the New Mexico Lobos this past weekend in Albuquerque, N.M.
Fresno State (7-9, 1-3 Mountain West) split singles in both contests, winning at the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 positions by Pang Jittakoat, Cristina Flaquer and Carolina Piferi, respectively.
Piferi also won 6-1 with Carlotta Nonnis Marzano at No. 3 doubles in the weekend opener against the Falcons on Saturday.
Despite the losses, Fresno State checked in at No. 63 nationally on Tuesday to remain ranked in the ITA Top 75, presented by Tennis-Point.
