COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Coming off the highest finish of her career, and leading Fresno State to its first team title in seven years, Harriet Lynch was named Mountain West Women's Golf of the Week on Thursday afternoon. It is the Bulldog's third weekly honor of her career with all three coming after playing in the Fresno State Classic.
Lynch finished runner-up this week at Fresno State's annual event, carding a 1-under par 215 (71-71-73), one of only two players in the field to shoot under par. It was her third tournament under par this season, and first since late September.
The Bulldogs entered the final round trailing by two strokes. Shooting 1-over par, the third-best score on the day, Lynch helped the 'Dogs to a five-shot win after going 1-under during the final 10 holes. The team title was Fresno State's first since March 8, 2016.
