BULLDOG BONES

Playing four of its last five games on the road, Fresno State will see a lot of the Save Mart Center in February with five of its last eight games of the regular season at home.

With two home games this week, it will be the Bulldogs' first full week at home since the first week of January.

In mid-January, Fresno State faced its opponents this week, Air Force and Boise State during a five-day span dropping a three-point game at Air Force (Jan. 14) and a seven-point defeat at Boise State (Jan 19).

The 'Dogs own the third-best defense in the Mountain West, allowing 58.8 points per game but have held 12 opponents to 50.7 ppg at the Save Mart Center.

Of the Bulldogs 10 conference games, seven have been decided by 10 points or less, tied for the most of any team in the league (Air Force, Wyoming).

Seven of the eight games in which the 'Dogs have held an opponent below 50 points has occurred at the Save Mart Center.

The Bulldogs are currently shooting 74.2 percent at the line, a mark that would be fifth-best in program history. It is 4.2 percent behind the program record.

RIGHT THERE

Through 10 games in Mountain West play, Fresno State has been outscored by 6.3 points per game. Six of the Bulldogs' nine losses have been by seven points or less with one or two possessions late in games determining the outcome.

Of the Bulldogs 10 conference games, seven have been decided by 10 points or less, tied for the most of any team in the league (Air Force, Wyoming).

GIVE HER 20

In six of Imani Lacy's 10 games, the senior has been on the court for at least 20 minutes. Those six games have seen four of her five double-digit scoring games, including a season-high 16 points in two of her last three outings.

In games Lacy has played at least 20 minutes, the senior is averaging 12.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1 block per game.

TWO-WAY PLAYER

Fresno State coaches knew that Amaya West would bring defense when they brought her in after four years at Nevada. What the fifth-year senior has also brought to Fresno is an offensive game that wasn't used much in Reno. In her last season in the Mountain West, the Mesa, Ariz. native has shown off her full array, averaging 14.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals per through 10 games.

West is one of two players in the league to rank in the Top 10 in both scoring (6th) and steals (10th).

SCOUTING AIR FORCE

Air Force enters Thursday's contest against the 'Dogs with an 11-11 overall record and has won four of its last five contests.

The Falcons are tied for fourth in the MW with Colorado State at 6-4 in conference play.

Air Force is 3-6 on the road this season with wins at Denver, San Jose State and Utah State.

The Falcons lead the MW and rank 11th in the country in steals per game (11.9). Air Force also leads the MW in turnovers forced per game (20.64) and is third in three point percentage defense (28.9 percent).

Sophomore guard Jo Huntimer ranks second in the MW in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.98), assists (101), assists per game (4.6) and steals per game (2.18).

SCOUTING BOISE STATE

Boise State heads into Saturday's game against the 'Dogs with a 10-13 overall mark.

The Broncos are 5-5 in the Mountain West sitting in a tie for seventh with Nevada. Boise State takes on the Wolf Pack in Reno on Thursday in their lone meeting against Nevada this season before coming to Fresno.

BSU is coming off a 62-57 win at home over San Diego State on Monday and is 1-4 on the road this season with a win at Utah State.

The Broncos lead the MW and rank sixth nationally in blocks per game (5.7) & also lead the league in rebounds per game (40.4) while sitting second in three point percentage (34.4) & field goal percentage defense (37.6).

Junior forward Abby Muse leads the MW in blocks (60) & blocks per game (2.61) sitting third and seventh nationally in those categories, respectively.
