COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State swimming and diving senior Athena Clayson was named the Mountain West Swimmer of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
This is Clayson's third career MW weekly honor and first this season.
Clayson won all six individual events she competed in over the 'Dogs two dual meets last week.
The three-time MW champion in the 200 Back took first in the 100 & 200 Back as well as the 200 IM against both Pepperdine and CSU Bakersfield.
In addition, she was on the winning 400 Free Relay team on Thursday against Pepperdine.
The Bulldogs are back in the pool on Saturday traveling to UC Davis for a dual at 2 p.m.
