Fresno State (20-4) checked in at No. 69 this week in the rankings of Division I women's tennis teams.
TEMPE, Ariz. – For the 11th consecutive week, the Fresno State women's tennis team is ranked nationally in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Fresno State (20-4) checked in at No. 69 this week in the rankings of Division I women's tennis teams. Fresno State has been ranked as high as No. 51 nationally in 2022.
The Bulldogs won the 2022 outright Mountain West regular season championship with a perfect 10-0 record in conference play to earn the top seed for the MW tournament championships for the fourth time in program history. This was Fresno State's 11th 20-win in program history and first since 2009.
Fresno State's Pang Jittakoat was named the 2022 MW Women's Tennis Player of the Year. Jittakoat and Matilde Magrini were each named to the 2022 All-MW Singles and Doubles Teams.
Fresno State head coach Denise Dy just finished her second season back home in California leading the Bulldogs' program and has led the 'Dogs to a 35-9 record in her tenure (18-2 in MW play).
