Fresno State will play 21 home games at Margie Wright Diamond as part of its 53-game schedule.
FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State softball program and first-year head coach Stacy May-Jhonson released a 53-game for the upcoming 2022 season.
The Bulldogs will host 21 games in Margie Wright Diamond featuring 10 different opponents and will play 30 games on the road against 17 different opponents. Fresno State will see six teams that made an appearance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
The 'Dogs will kick off the season at the Black and Gold Tournament hosted by UCF (Feb. 11-13), before returning home for the home-opening series against UC Davis (Feb. 19-20).
Fresno State will complete in two additional tournaments at the Demarini Invitational hosted by Stanford (Feb. 25-27) and CSU Fullerton's Judy Garman (March 3-5).
Nine-midweek contests will be played leading up to conference play, including games against UCF (March 9), Pacific (March 23), St. Mary's (April 5) and LMU (March 30) at home.
The Bulldogs will welcome Mountain West foes San Diego State (March 25-27), Utah State (April 8-10), Colorado State (April 22-24) and UNLV (May 12-14) to Fresno and travel to Boise State (March 18-20), San Jose State (April 1-3), New Mexico (April 14-16) and Nevada (May 6-8).
Fresno State will breakup conference play with a doubleheader at Arizona on April 30.
The 'Dogs bring back nine returners and add nine newcomers to the roster.
