married couple has been arrested in connection with the death of a missing pregnant woman and her unborn child.

Ashley Bush, 33, was last seen on October 31 when she went to meet a woman named Lucy in response to an online job posting. Lucy was supposed to take Bush to a job interview, but when her fiancé, Josh Willis, went to pick her up, she was not there.

He reportedly saw Lucy, but she drove away before he could speak to her. He then contacted the company where Bush was supposed to interview and was told that nobody named Lucy worked there.

Officials said that the Bush's unborn baby, named Valkyrie Grace Willisdied on Monday. The McDonald County Sheriff's Office said they received a 911 call from Amber and Jamie Waterman that night about a newborn baby that was not breathing. Paramedics found the couple driving to the hospital and tried to revive the infant.

The Watermans claimed that the child was theirs.

The next day, investigators found Bush's body at the Waterman's home. She had gunshot wounds, but authorities are waiting for the autopsy report to determine her cause of death.

The Watermans were both taken into custody and charged with kidnapping. Officials said that more charges will be filed as they continue to investigate the deaths of Bush and Valkyrie.

"This is just a reminder that there is evil in the world," Benton County Prosecutor Nathan Smith said. "People do evil things. That someone would prey upon a pregnant woman at her most vulnerable state is unimaginable. That's the world we live in."
