This October, Kearney Park will be transformed for the 30th year of Civil War Revisited, the largest signature event of its kind west of the Mississippi. All proceeds will once again benefit the Fresno Historical Society.Hundreds of reenactors, period craftspersons and actors portraying historical figures will all come together to create a living history that is both educational and entertaining.Over the course of the event, the grounds of Kearney Park become the America of the 1860s with Confederate and Union campsites, a battlefield, a civilian town with sutlers selling wares, artisans performing engaging demonstrations and a variety of food stands available to feed hungry visitors.
