A man was arrested for the death of a 7-year-old girl in their home Saturday morning, the Stockton Police Department.
Officers entered the home to “conduct the welfare of a child,” on the 1300 block of Candlewood Way around 4:45 a.m. Saturday morning, when they found the girl unresponsive, as she was pronounced dead at the scene.
30-year-old Billey Williams, who is the girl's father, was arrested on charges of homicide and assault on a child resulting in death.
