1 killed, 3 Injured in DUI Crash in South Sacramento

A DUI crash in the South Sacramento area has killed one person and injured three others.

According to the CHP, the crash took place on Calvine and Bader roads around 8pm Saturday night.

The driver of the car, which had two passengers inside, went past a red light and crashed into an SUV.

All four people in the SUV suffered minor injuries. In the other vehicle, the rear passenger has major injuries. The front passenger died later at the hospital. The driver of the car was arrested on DUI charges and is expected to survive with moderate injuries.
