CHP officers have arrested a person who was driving the wrong way on Highway 50.
A caller reported the driver around 1:30am Thursday, as driving the wrong way in the #1 lane near Zinfandel Drive on Hwy 50.
Officers tried to pull over the driver, but the car wouldn't stop as it approached Highway 99.
So, two CHP patrol cars rammed into the driver and stopped the vehicle.
The driver was taken into custody and under the influence of alcohol. The driver's name has not been released.
