Davis Opens Up Bidding For Public Restrooms

The City of Davis has open up bidding on two public restrooms after months of discussion on the topic. Back in 2017 funding for the two restrooms was approved but because of disagreement among the businesses in the Downtown Plaza about where the restrooms should be, discussion for the placement of the restrooms continued.

The restrooms, which would resemble kiosks with graffiti proof paneling, are supposed to combat public urination in the area. According to City officials, bidding for the two public restrooms, which will be located at E and G street Plaza, will close September 1st.
