Around 12 p.m. Wednesday (July 17), Sacramento Fire reported they were battling a commercial building that had caught fire on Freeport Blvd.
The fire started in a two story building's attic and had vented through the roof by 12:11 p.m .
The fire heavily impacted traffic on Freeport Boulevard. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
No other structures were damaged and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
