Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department say one of their detectives is now on leave following accusations he went into a men's bathroom at Angels Stadium in Anaheim on June 8th and recorded video of people using the facility without them knowing.
KABC-TV says the detective being investigated is 42-year-old Ryan Caplette. He has worked with the employee relations department that handles employee grievances and working conditions.
Caplette was given a misdemeanor citation and released pending the outcome of the investigation. Police officials did not say one way or the other if he had hired a lawyer to represent him.
