Stanford University alum Lili Thompson, the newest woman on the Harlem Globetrotters, was back in Palo Alto recently to visit local children at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford. The kids would otherwise be unable to see the Globetrotters.
Sporting the nickname "Champ", Thompson and her teammate Zeus McClurklin spent a part of one day meeting kids face-to-face as part of the Globetrotters ’s Smile Patrol. They spun basketballs, took selfies with the kids, and spent talking with young fans.
