LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN
There is a lot on the line for the Bulldogs as these final ten conference games approach. Fresno State stays in a good standing coming into the week at No. 5, Bulldogs look to remain here in hopes of grabbing a first-round bye for the Mountain West Tournament.
Fresno State looks to pack in plenty of milestones in this ten game stretch. Head coach Jaime White is shy of nine wins to become the winningest coach at Fresno State with 200 wins. Seven wins in this final ten game stretch will guarantee coach White a tie with Bob Spencer, for most wins at Fresno State. Spencer coached from 1981-93 and totaled a 198-147 record in 12 seasons.
Mia Jacobs is looking for her next shot to reach 1,000 points, as she recently marked 1,000 career points on Jan. 8 against San Jose State. Now Jacobs moves forth on 1,000 points in a Bulldog uniform. In her first season with the 'Dogs Jacobs totaled 449 on the season, through 22 games this season the forward owns 406.
Jacobs would be the second player in program history to achieve 1,000 career and program points in a single season (Ki-Ki Moore). If Jacobs hits the 1,000 point mark this season, she would be the third Bulldog in program history to do so in two seasons (Haley Cavinder & Ki-Ki Moore).
