FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's tennis team will open the fall season with the MW Fall Qualifier at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas beginning on Wednesday. The four day tournament will see top players from each conference school playing for a NCAA Individual qualifying bid.
MW FALL QUALIFIER
The Mountain West is hosting a fall qualifier in concurrency with the NCAA's new two-year pilot program to host the NCAA Division 1 Individual Championships in the fall of 2024 and 2025.
This fall qualifier appoints the allotted Mountain West AQ into the ITA Conference Masters tournament. The ITA Masters tournament is one of four official qualifying tournaments that athletes can participate in to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships. Where each conference will then designate one singles player and one doubles pair from each gender to participate in the ITA Conference Masters tournament.

The Bulldogs kick off their fall season with the MW Fall Qualifier followed by the San Diego Veterans Classic later in the week

Three Bulldogs will make the trip to Vegas for the tournament, Matilde Magrini, Charlotte Gisclon and Sofia Pizzioni
All three Bulldogs will play in the singles draw of 32
Magrini and Gisclon will be the lone doubles pair in the round of 16, making their first pairing together
THE BRACKET
MW fall qualifier will feature a draw of 32 singles and round of 16 doubles. A consultation match will be given to ensure at least two matches per player from the round of 32.
