Swim & Dive announce 2024-25 competition schedule

FRESNO, Calif.- Fresno State's swim and dive team and head coach Jeanne Fleck announced their 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.

The schedule features four home meets, three road dual meets and four invitationals. Bulldogs' will once again kick off the season hosting the Fresno State Invitational on Oct. 4-5. The invite will be a three-session meet, with the first two sessions held on Friday, Oct. 4 and the final session on Saturday morning.

'Dogs will take on the open water for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's second-ever open water championship in Laguna Beach on Oct. 19.

The first dual meet of the season will see the 'Dogs in Reno on Oct. 26, where Fresno State will look to build their series win streak after defeating Nevada for the first time in program history in the 2023-24 season. Bulldogs will travel back to California to visit CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 9.

Fresno State will see two more invitationals on the road, at the Utah Tech Invite on Nov. 21-23 in St. George, while the divers will see their first bite of invitational action at the Riverside Diving Invite on Dec. 5-7, before coming back home to host their second meet of the season.

Fresno State will host Pepperdine to kick off the New Year, following last seasons meet format with a sprint meet on Jan. 10 and a dual meet on Jan. 11. Bulldogs' will trek up north, as the divers head to Berkeley for the Cal Diving Invite on Jan. 16-18 and the swimmers take on the Aggies at UC Davis on Jan. 24. The regular season ends with Fresno State hosting San Jose State on Feb. 1 for senior day.

Fresno State earned their highest program finish at the 2024 MW Championships among a 4th place and will return for the 2025 Mountain West Championships at the CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas from Feb. 19-22.

Post season action will begin with the divers in Federal Way, Wash. as they look to earn a NCAA qualifying spot at the NCAA Diving Zones on Mar. 10-12. The National Invitational Championships in Ocala, FL. will see swimmers who have achieved a qualifying 'A' time standard in a bona-fide collegiate meet on Mar. 13-15.

The NCAA Championships will also be held in Federal Way, Wash. at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center on Mar. 19-22.
