MOBILE, Ala. – Five Fresno State football players were named to the preseason watch list for the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl, one of the nation's top senior all star games ahead of the NFL Draft. Offensive linemen Mose Vavao and Braylen Nelson, defensive backs Cam Lockridge and Dean Clark and defensive lineman Devo Bridges were unveiled on the list.
The five selections are the most for the program, and its most since four ahead of the record-breaking 2022 season.
The game is set to be played on February 1, 2025 at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama. The Senior Bowl is recognized as one of the top senior all-star games with elite draft prospects from around the country being selected to showcase their talent and connect with coaches and decision-makers from all 32 NFL teams.
Fresno State has sent a player to the Senior Bowl in back-to-back seasons as cornerback Carlton Johnson received an invitation last season and quarterback Jake Haener participated in the 2023 edition of the game. Haener was named the MVP of the Senior Bowl. Both Haener and Johnson moved on to the NFL.
Wednesday's announcement is the second time this same group of Bulldogs has been recognized by a postseason all-star game, being named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 earlier this summer. Both the Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine have become the top games for NFL prospects.
