Bryant closes Bulldog career in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. – Fresno State's season came to close on Saturday afternoon at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. Senior Jordyn Bryant finished 23rd in the discus to earn her second honorable mention All-America accolade of the week.

The senior landed a mark of 50.77m/166-7 on her first attempt of the competition. She fouled on her final two attempts to end her day.

Bryant concluded her Bulldog career as a three three-time honorable mention All-American, earning one in 2023 and two in 2024.

NOTES

Bryant became the first Bulldog athlete to earn multiple All-American honors at a single championship meet in the 21st century.

Bryant is a two-time honorable mention All-American in the discus (2023, 2024).

Fresno State's four total entries this week were its most at a NCAA Outdoor Championship since the start of the two-region qualifying format.
