'Dogs in sixth after day two of Mountain West Championship

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – The Fresno State women's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds of the Mountain West Championship at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at the Mission Hills Country Club.

Amelia Garibaldi and Katelyn Lehigh led the way for the Bulldogs both shooting 1-over 73. Garibaldi shot 73 for the second consecutive round. Garibaldi moved inside the top 15 on the leaderboard, tied for 14th. Lehigh's 73 was a four-stroke improvement from yesterday's round, she had three birdies on the day.

Vunnisa Vu also had a four-stroke improvement from the first round, carding a 2-over 74.

Katelyn Harris recorded a 3-over 75. Harris' score of 5-over 149 through two rounds is her best two-round score this season.

Sophia Chen shot a 5-over 77. Chen remains inside the top 15 on the leaderboard with a score of 2-over 146.

Fresno State will conclude the Mountain West Championship with round three tomorrow. The Bulldogs will be paired with Nevada and Colorado State, with tee times starting at 7:45 a.m. PT.
