COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West is celebrating its 25th Season of excellence on and off the field of play. During each Mountain West Championship in 2023-24, the Conference will recognize a 25th Season Team.
Among the 25 athletes selected for this honor is former women's golfer Brigitte Thibault.
Thibault, a three-time First Team All-MW selection, became the first Bulldog to advance to the NCAA Women's Golf Championship in 2021. She qualified for NCAA Regionals twice during her career (2021, 2019). Thibault was the 2019 Mountain West Conference Individual Champion.
During her tenure as a Bulldog, Thibault has 13 Top 10 finishes. The Rosemere, Canada native became the program leader in career birdies (308), tied the school-record for career eagles (5) and career scoring average (73.17). In addition to setting the program record for single-season par 5 scoring (4.7858), single-season par 3 scoring and par 4 scoring and the program-low 36-hole total with a 6-under-par 138 (69-69).
Thibault also received two invitations to the Augusta National Women's Amateur (2021, 2020).
