EL MACERO, Calif. – The Fresno State men's golf team wrapped day two of the El Macero Classic, shooting a 7-over 295 in the second round. The Bulldogs sit in eighth place with a total score of 28-over 604.
Ryan Firpo leads the team with a score of 3-over 147. The Freshman is currently tied for eighth in the field. He shot 1-over in the second round after going 2-over in round one.
Matthew Manganello was the low Bulldog at 1-under. He has an eight-stroke improvement from the first round, chalking four birdies in the second round. The senior is tied for 18th place.
Mason Benbrook finished the day 3-over, Matthew Sutherland shot 4-over and Joseph Lloyd was 10-over.
