FRESNO, Calif.- Continuing their time on the road Fresno State women's tennis team takes on another pair of conference opponents this weekend. Wyoming on Friday at 2 p.m. PT followed by Colorado State at 10 a.m. PT on Sunday.
BULLDOG BONES
Fresno State is 8-9 and 2-1 in MW play
Bulldog will continue their time on the road this week to see Wyoming on Friday and Colorado State on Sunday.
Carolina Piferi has logged in 13 singles wins this season, the most of the team thus far
Fresno State will meet the Cowgirls for the sixth time in program history
Wyoming leads the all-time meetings at 3-2 since their first meeting in 2013
Fresno State will meet Colorado State for the seventh time in program history, the Bulldogs hold a strong 6-0 record in the all-time series meetings since 2013
Making the trip out is Matilde Magrini, Misaki Kobayashi, Carolina Piferi, Charlotte Gisclon, Hannah Pieper and Eliza Dunbar
Fresno State has three more matches after this weekend until the Mountain West Tournament begins in Las Vegas on April 24

PIFERI KEEPING THE WIN STREAK HOT
Carolina Piferi continues to lead the 'Dogs with 13 singles wins this season. True to her playing, Piferi extended those wins straight into conference play. Piferi holds a clean 3-0 record at No. 3 singles in conference play and 2-0 at No. 2 doubles with partner Eliza Dunbar.
Against the Rebels, Piferi managed to clinch the teams lone point after defeating Cindy Hu in a third set comeback; 2-6, 6-2, 6-3. A win in Vegas gave Piferi her fourth straight win at No. 3 singles.
RAINY DAY BLUES
Fresno State has seen two matches rained out in conference play this season, most recently last weekend's match at Nevada. 'Dogs are hoping for clear weather as they travel to Laramie and then Fort Collins this weekend.
WORKING ON THE ROAD
Bulldogs hold a 2-6 road record this season with early road wins in the non-conference portion of the season at Santa Clara and USF. Fresno has dropped the last three road matches and first conference road match at UNLV.
'Dogs are looking for their first conference road win of the season and will have two opportunities to clinch this weekend.
WHAT'S BACK HOME
Bulldogs return to Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Complex after visiting the Rams to host Boise State on April 12. Fresno State's final home match of the season is set to follow next the week on April 18, to host the San Jose State Spatrans for Senior Night.

Cowgirls are a strong team when it comes to playing in Laramie with a 6-1 home record, their lone loss comes from non-conference opponent University of Colorado

Cowgirls are on a single game win streak after dating UNLV, 4-3
Wyoming leads the series after defeating Fresno State in the last meeting, 4-3, in Fresno last season

Colorado holds a 7-8, 3-2 MW record
The Rams are 6-2 at home and looking to extend their home win streak to five matches at the conclusion of the weekend
Rams are coming off two losses at Nevada and Pacific
No. 1 doubles team Radka Buzkova and Viktoryia Zhadzinskaya start the weekend unbeaten in conference play with a 5-0 mark.
Zara Lennon leads the team with 14 singles victories this season, with Sarah Weekley owning 11 singles wins, Luana Avelar and Sarka Richterova 10 each.
