LIHUE, Hawai'i – The Fresno State women's golf team sits in fifth place at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational after carding a 2-under 286 in the first round.
Freshman Amelia Garibaldi was the low Bulldog on the day after shooting a 3-under 69. Sophia Chen and Katelyn Lehigh both carded a 1-under 71. Katelyn Harris and Vunnisa Vu followed, both recorded a 3-over 75 on the day.
The Bulldogs will begin round two tomorrow at 12 p.m. PT with a shotgun start.
