FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State football team opens up its spring slate with the first of 15 practices inside Valley Children's Stadium on Friday.
The Bulldogs' spring season will conclude with the Spring Preview, a part of the larger Bulldog Block Party, on Saturday, April 27. More information on the Bulldog Block Party will be announced soon.
All practices outside of the Spring Preview are closed to the general public.

What To Know
Fresno State enters its third year with head coach Jeff Tedford at the helm. A former Bulldog quarterback himself, Tedford is in his second stint as the program's head coach. He first took the program over for the 2017-19 seasons before stepping away for health concerns.
Fresno State returns 14 total starters for 2024, including eight on offense, five on defense and one specialist.
The Bulldogs lost 11 starters with three departures on offense, six on defense and two specialists.
Fresno State added 11 mid-year players to its roster for 2024 – five offense, five defense and one specialist.
Fresno State has 25 players who are looking at their final year of eligibility in 2024.
Since the end of the 2023 season, the Bulldogs saw just one coaching staff change among the full-time staff. Former Bulldog student-athlete and graduate assistant (2022-23) Matt Smith assumed the role of offensive line coach.
Three players on the 2024 roster played for Tedford in his first stint as head coach -- WR Emoryie Edwards, LB Malachi Langley, DL Devo Bridges.
Entering spring football, there has been just one position change for returners on the Bulldogs roster as redshirt freshman RL Miller has moved from nickel to linebacker.
Looking back at 2023, the Bulldogs finished the season with a 9-4 overall record capped with a win over New Mexico State in the Isleta New Mexico Bowl.
The Bulldogs were ranked in the AP Top 25 three times in 2023, marking the third-straight season with at least one appearance in the poll.
Fresno State sold out three of its six home games in 2023, helping to push the Bulldogs to the highest average attendance in the Mountain West for the second year in a row.
Fresno State led all G5 programs in attendance with an average of 39,939 fans per game.
