'Dogs wrap up NCAA Diving Zone E Championship

FLAGSTAFF, AZ.- Fresno State diver Grace Ally completes the NCAA Diving Zone E Championship with a finals appearance on the last day of competition at Wall Aquatic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Grace Ally started her week with the 3-meter springboard on Tuesday afternoon. Ally took 29th place out of fifty divers in this event. The sophomore diver saw her first career appearance in the 3-meter springboard at Zones, thus recording her best finish in this meet.

The final day saw one of Ally's stronger events, the platform. Ally grazes by to earn herself the final qualifying spot for the afternoon session at 18th place with 220.40 points. Ally moves up seven places to finish in 11th place with 473.95 points. Grace earns her highest finish at NCAA Zones in the platform (11th), her best finish in the platform event this season and sets her second best points performance for the platform at NCAA Zones.
