'Dogs set for rematch with the Dons

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's tennis team returns to the Bay Area to face the Dons after the match was initially canceled due to inclement weather in early February. First serve starts at 11 a.m. PT in San Francisco, Calif.

BULLDOG BONES

Fresno State is in its final two non-conference matches and will see Weber State at the end of the weekend

Fresno State is coming off a set of back-to-back losses from Washington Stats (5-2) and Gonzaga (4-2)

Bulldogs will open conference play at home against Utah State on March 17 at 11 a.am followed by home matches against Air Force and New Mexico the following week

Hannah Pieper (No. 6) was the lone Bulldog to see points from both matches against the Cougars and Zags, while Charlotte Gisclon saw a win at No. 5 singles against Gonzaga and Carolina Piferi at No. 2 singles against Washington State

Fresno state has not seen a doubles points since mid-February against Cal State Fullerton

Senior Carolina Piferi sees her first singles loss since the start of the season at Gonzaga (2-6, 3-6)

Double pair Eliza Dunbar and Carolina Piferi also saw a set of losses at No. 2 this weekend

Last time out Fresno State was unable to close out the weekend against San Francisco due to inclement weather

Fresno State leads the all-time meetings 5-1

Bulldogs will face the Dons for the third time in San Francisco

Last time out was in Fresno where the 'Dogs pulled for a win in 2022, 4-1
