FRESNO, Calif.-Fresno State women's basketball team falls to the Broncos at the Save Mart Center on Wednesday night, 60-50.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In true freshman fashion for Kylee Fox, she got the Bulldogs on the board first sinking in a shot from the three. Boise State responded strong with a 7-0 run nearing a double-digit lead as the first ten winded down. 'Dogs close out on a quick run with a second chance layup by Sydney Dethman and a layup in the paint by Stricklin.
Bulldogs held a strong defensive front holding the Broncos scoreless for the first four minutes. Fresno State started on the stronger foot with their largest scoring run of the night, 9-0. A scoring run started on back-to-back layups by Deajanae Harvey, followed by Mia Jacobs, and finally capped off with a big three from Franka Wittenberg to get within one of the Broncos. Boise State would make up for lost time in the final two minutes with a 9-5 run. 'Dogs trail by three going into the half.
Taking the court by storm, Keely Brown evens up the score for the Bulldogs on a fast break layup from a turnover. Boise would take back the lead for only a short minute before another Bronco turnover. Another set of back-to-back layups for Dethman grants the 'Dogs their first lead of the night. The Broncos see a small lead once again after a trip to the charity line.
Down one to start the Broncos gave the Bulldogs a tough lead to fight after a 7-0 run, seeing the foul line twice and a shot from downtown in the first two minutes. Bulldogs get their first point from the field off a spin move by Bineta Diatta to trail by six. The Broncos built to a double-digit lead after three more trips to the foul line. Bulldogs held the Broncos scoreless from the field in the final two minutes and the final basket for the 'Dogs by Diatta calls game.
