SEATTLE – Freshman Liz Tarczy continued to raise the bar in her first season, moving up to No. 2 at Fresno State in the high jump on Friday at the UW Invitational.
Tarczy won her second consecutive high jump event by clearing 1.75m/5-8.75. The Bulldog cleared the height on her final attempt.
In the weight throw, Cierra Jackson (18.95m/62-2), Emma Harper (18.02/59-1) and Amelia DiPaola (17.65m/57-11) went 2-3-5. Jackson and DiPaola each improved on their season bests while Emma Harper's mark was more than a meter better than her personal record.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – At the New Mexico Team Open, Chloe Sharp and Iyanna Ross finished the 400 meters in 10th and 12th, respectively, with times of 56.05 and 56.50.
In the 200 meter invitational, Ceonna Pipion finished 14th with a time of 24.39.
