FRESNO, Calif.- Fresno State women's basketball team is back home to host Colorado State in a Wednesday night match up. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. PT streaming on the Mountain West Network.

ABOUT THE MATCH UP

Fresno State and Colorado State will meet for the 34th time in program history and for the 17th time at the Save Mart Center. Colorado State leads the all time meetings 19-14 and comes to Fresno on a three game series win streak. The last match up between the two programs was in Feb. 2023 in Fresno where the Rams claimed the win, 61-54. The last time Fresno State won came in the 2020-21 campaign in Fresno, 78-74.

ANOTHER CAREER NIGHT FOR THE 'DOGS

Against San Diego State Deajanae Harvey would earn her first career-start as a Bulldog. Harvey would also record a career and season-high 19 points as a Bulldog. Harvey has been a staple player for the Bulldogs to open conference play, recording double-digits in all three conference games thus far (19, at San Diego State), (11, at San Jose State) and (12, vs Air Force). Harvey has also shot 50% from the field in back-to-back games (53% 7-of-13 at San Diego) and (57% 4-of-7 at San Jose State).

FOURTH QUARTER COMEBACK

Fresno State would play a strong last quarter in the first games of conference play. At San Jose State, Fresno State would fight till the end to break multiple near double-digit leads. With a 13-1 scoring run into the final minutes and a steal by Harvey would not give the Spartans a chance to fight back. At San Diego, Fresno State would see an 18 point deficit to start the last quarter. Bulldogs would record their highest period of points with 23. 'Dogs would overcome the double-digit Aztec lead to bring it down to three in the final minute.

Fresno State has outscored their opponents in the fourth quarter in the last five games, and four time scoring 20 or more; (23-to-12 at SDSU), (21-to-14 at SJSU), (21-to-12 vs AF), (26-to-22 at ASU), (15-to-13 vs Sac St.).

Fresno State remained high in the Mountain West rankings all through the non-conference portion of the season and still sees time at the top into the third week of conference play.
