COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State's Ceonna Pipion was named Mountain West Indoor Women's Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
The senior from Folsom, Calif. placed second in the 400 meters over the weekend at the Spokane Invitational and anchored the Bulldogs' 4x400 relay team to a win with a time of 3:47.1. Pipion finished the 400 meters in a time of 55.12, the third-fastest time recorded in the NCAA this season.
It is the first weekly honor of Pipion's career.
