FRESNO, Calif. – The Diamond 'Dogs and head coach Ryan Overland announced the 2024 schedule on Thursday.
Fresno State will begin its 55-game regular season schedule on Friday, February 16 at home in a weekend series against Milwaukee in the programs' first ever match up.
Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium will be the venue for 13 different teams this season with 27 total home contests across five series and five midweek games.
The Diamond 'Dogs will host a weekend four-pack with UC Irvine and Columbia, opening the weekend with back-to-back games against the Anteaters on Thursday and Friday, followed by a pair against the Lions on Saturday and Sunday.
Conference opponents San Diego State (March 1-3), Air Force (March 22-24), Nevada (April 5-7), San Jose State (April 19-21) and UNLV (May 10-12) will visit Fresno in 2024 and the 'Dogs will hit the road to face San Jose State (March 15-17), UNLV (March 28-30), New Mexico (April 12-14), San Diego State (May 3-5) and Air Force (May 16-18).
In non-conference play, the 'Dogs will head to Cal State Fullerton (February 23-25) and Washington State (April 26-28) for the first time since 2011.
Midweek matchups at the Pete will include Pacific (February 20), LMU (March 19), CSUN (April 23), Cal Poly (April 30) and CSU Bakersfield (May 14). Tuesday games on the road will take the 'Dogs to Sac State (February 20 & March 12), USC (March 26), CSU Bakersfield (April 2), Cal Poly (April 9), LMU (April 16) and Pacific (May 7).
The Mountain West Championship tournament will be held at San Diego State this season on June 23-26.
