FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team is wrapping up its stint of road matches this week with matchups at New Mexico and Air Force.

First serve against New Mexico is set for 5:30 p.m. PT on Thursday evening. The 'Dogs will face Air Force on Saturday afternoon at 11:30 a.m. PT.

ALL KNOTTED UP

Fresno State is in a three-way tie for second place in the Mountain West standings with New Mexico and Colorado State.

Fresno State was selected to be last in the conference in the Preseason Coaches' Poll following a 1-17 MW season in 2022.

The Bulldogs have crawled their way to the top with nine wins in the conference this season.

UPGRADES, PEOPLE. UPGRADES.

The inaugural season of Rosen Era has come with several upgrades for the Bulldogs, from the ground up.

Fresno State unveiled a brand new Taraflex® court this week to replace the wooden surface that has been used since the program's inception.

The Taraflex® court provides higher shock absorption that prevents long-term, debilitating injuries for athletes of all ages.

The court features the four-paw Bulldog logo in the center with the "Bulldogs" script logo in the bottom right and "Fresno State" in block letters in the top left corner.

The iconic Green V logo, representing California's Central Valley, is also displayed on the top right and bottom left corners of the court.

The installation of the court has been in the works since early July and was kept a secret from the team until its finalization on October 31 for a grand reveal for the team in the Save Mart Center.

FRESH ON THE COURT

Jenna Legault ran the offense for the Bulldogs last week, totaling a team-leading 27 kills on the weekend.

Legault had an average of 3.38 kills per set last week, with 14 in the Bulldogs' 3-1 victory over UNLV and 13 in their victory over SDSU.

Jenna assisted the team in climbing up the conference standings to second place after being selected to be last in the conference preseason.

Legault was responsible for 28.5 points for the 'Dogs last week, the second most on the team behind Ella Rud.

Jenna also added three blocks on the week to assist the Bulldogs in going 2-0.

THAT'S SO RUD…

Ella Rud had a dominant week for the Bulldogs, claiming 23 kills on the week with an average of 2.88 kills per set.

Rud had an attack percentage of .347 total this week, and in the Bulldogs' 3-1 road victory over UNLV hit .464.

Rud also totaled six service aces with four of them coming from the Bulldogs' 3-1 road win over SDSU on Saturday. She landed second most in the conference this week and most on the Bulldogs squad.

Rud averaged 2.88 kills per set.

In addition, Rud added 20 digs this week with 13 against UNLV and 7 against SDSU.

Ella also earned another Double-Double this week against UNLV on the road with 14 kills and 13 digs.
