STILLWATER, Okla. - The Fresno State equestrian team fell 12-7 at No. 6 Oklahoma State on Friday afternoon, dropping to 0-5 on the season with one fall competition remaining until the winter recess.
How it happened
Oklahoma State opened with a 4-1 win in the fences. The Bulldog point was scored by Olivia Ferro in a 82-77 defeat of her opponent.
The horsemanship saw the Bulldogs tack on two more points from Emily Maul and Abby Goddard. Maul, against her old team, outscored her opponent 75.5-74.5. Goddard stayed undefeated on the travel weekend with a 73.5 to defeat her opponent by half a point.
Fresno State trailed 7-3 at the break.
The teams tied 2-2 in the flat as Autumn Bradbury and Sara Tuck defeated their opponents. Tuck also went 2-0 this week with her 89-75 performance against the Cowgirls. Bradbury stayed hot, winning her point 81-77. Taylor Holstead rode for a tie with an 86.
Oklahoma State won the reining 3-2 to finish off the meet. Fresno State earned points in rides from Brogan Hill and Shelby Robinette.
