BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Fresno State women's golf team sits in 10th place through two rounds of the Clash at Boulder Creek, carding a 9-over 585.
Freshman Amelia Garibaldi leads the Bulldogs at 2-under 142. She scored a season-best 2-under 70 in the second round, with a season-best six birdies. Garibaldi is tied for 13th in the field.
Fellow freshman Vunnisa Vu wasn't far behind, recording a season-best two-round score 1-over 145.
Fresno State will tee off the third round tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. PT, paired with UTEP, UC Riverside and Weber State.
Meredith McDougal, competing as an individual, finished two rounds with a score of 8-over 152. She will also tee off at 8 a.m. The junior is paired with individuals from NAU, Boise State and UC Irvine.
