FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State Volleyball team is gearing up to face the Colorado State Rams on the road and the Wyoming Cowgirls at home this week.
First serve in Fort Collins is set for 6 p.m. PT on Thursday evening. Fresno State will return home to host Wyoming on Saturday at 1 p.m. PT. Both matches will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network.
JOIN THE CLUB
Saturday is Jr. Bulldogs Kids Club Day at the Save Mart Center and members will receive free admission to the match.
Children in the 8th grade and below can sign up for the Jr. Bulldogs Kids Club for free HERE or in-person on Saturday before the match.
Directly following the match, the Bulldog Volleyball team will be signing autographs on the court and posters are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
SOMETHING ABOUT THE SLEEVES
Fresno State, in partnership with adidas, debuted new uniforms last weekend, unlike anything the 'Dogs have worn on the court before.
The jerseys are a sleeveless cut, paired with armbands featuring the iconic red and white checkerboard print.
The navy uniforms feature "Fresno State" in block lettering across the front with the athlete's number in white on both sides.
The Bulldogs are now 2-0 in the checkerboard sleeves after defeating SDSU 3-2 on Thursday and UNLV 3-0 on Saturday.
ADD ON ANOTHER DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Junior Brooke Cowie added another pair of double-doubles to her season total over the last week against SDSU and UNLV.
In a 3-2 victory over the Aztecs, Cowie totaled 41 assists and 12 digs on the court for the 'Dogs.
The Bulldogs swept UNLV out of Fresno on Saturday with 24 assists and 13 digs from Cowie.
UNO REVERSE CARD
Fresno State finished 2022 at the bottom of the conference standings after finishing the year with a 1-17 conference record.
The UNLV Rebels finished the season with a 17-1 record in Mountain West play and claiming the title of Regular Season Champs.
Fresno State swept the UNLV Rebels on Saturday afternoon in the Save Mart Center in front of a season-high crowd of 983 members of the Red Wave.
