Bulldogs make moves on program's Top 25 on Saturday

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – In the final meet before the conference championship, Fresno State saw three of its athletes enter the program's Top 25 in the 6k, and a fourth move up on the list, on Saturday morning at the Bronco Invitational at Baylands Regional Park.

Corie Smith led the Bulldogs with a time of 21:16.1, shaving five seconds off her time from last year at Baylands. The time moved her into sole possession of ninth on the Fresno State all-time list.

A pack of Bulldogs moved into the back end of the program's Top 25. Taking 39 seconds off her previous best, Gianna Chiaramonte clocked a time of 21:55.0 which moved the junior to No. 20 at Fresno State. Just behind her were fellow juniors Ashley Ochoa (21:59.0) and Mia Jauregui (22:01.8). The two now sit No. 23 and No. 24 on the list.

Juanathan Reyes paced the men's team with a time of 24:34.4 in the 8k. It was 15 seconds off his personal record.
