FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State Athletics announced on Tuesday future home football games with both Stanford and UCLA, marking the first time in Bulldog football history those programs will travel to the Central Valley.
The home-and-home with Stanford sees a Sept. 2, 2028 matchup in Fresno and a road trip for the 'Dogs a year later on Sept. 1, 2029.
Fresno State and UCLA already had a game at the Rose Bowl on the schedule for 2024. That game will move from Sept. 14, 2024, to Nov. 30, 2024 as part of the new agreement, setting up a Thanksgiving weekend clash in Pasadena. The Bruins will make their first-ever visit to Fresno on Sept. 4, 2032.
With the addition of Stanford and UCLA to future home schedules, Fresno State will now host a currently designated "Autonomous 5" program in 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, and 2032.
In 2024, when Fresno State travels to UCLA, the Bruins will be in their first season as a member of the Big Ten.
