FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State has four players set to compete this weekend (Friday - Sunday) at the Cal Fall Invitational at the Hellman Tennis Complex and Channing Tennis Courts in Berkeley, Calif. Carolina Piferi, Charlotte Gisclon, Gianna Mastro and Hannah Pieper will compete for the Bulldogs in singles and doubles competition.
The Cal Fall Invitational includes players from 16 teams – Cal, BYU, Cal Poly, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Long Beach State, Nevada, Pacific, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Stanford and Utah – vying for singles and doubles titles.

Charlotte Gisclon
Transferred to Fresno State from Michigan State. Was with the Spartans for two years from 2021-23.

Hannah Pieper
Freshman from Berlin, Germany looking ahead to her first competition as a Bulldog, and a collegiate tennis player
Pieper achieved a ranking of 33 in the German 18 and under girl's rankings and 174 in Germany's women's rankings
Earned Berlin's championship title in both the girls 18 and under division and the girls 13 and under division
Represented Berlin's national team in the girls 15 and under team championship
Carolina Piferi
The Bulldogs' most experienced player this weekend, entering 2023-24 for her senior season.
In the 2022 edition of the Cal Fall Invitational, she made it to the semifinals in the Gold Bracket
Had an impressive fall season a year ago, competing at the Cal Fall Invitations, the ITA Northwest regionals and the Jack Kramer Invitational
