FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's tennis team has released its 2023 fall schedule that features six tournaments from September to November this fall.
Fresno State will begin its fall action this weekend at the Battle of the Bay for the second year in a row. Yinglak Jittakoat and Matilde Magrini competed at last year's event. Competition in 2023 runs from Sept. 21-24.
Jittakoat returns as the reigning Mountain West Player of the Year, having earned the honors in back-to-back seasons. She became the fourth women's tennis player in Mountain West history to receive player of the year honors in consecutive seasons (2022 & 2023). In addition to her Player of the Year nod a season ago, she was also named to the 2023 All-MW Singles and Doubles Teams.
Joining Jittakoat in MW honors last season, and also returning for the 2023-24 season, in Magrini who was a All-MW Doubles Team honoree for her second-straight season last year.
Denise Dy is entering her fourth season as the 11th head coach of the Fresno State women's tennis program.

Sept. 29-Oct. 1: Cal Fall Invitational (Brekeley, Calif.)
Sept. 30-Oct. 8: ITA All-Americans (Cary, N.C.)
Oct. 13-15: ITA Regionals (Stanford, Calif.)
Nov. 1-5: ITA Fall Nationals (San Diego, Calif.)
Nov. 3-5: Jack Kramer Invitational (Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.)
