FRESNO, Calif. - Four former Bulldogs saw action in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.
Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Adams recorded six receptions for 66 yards in the Raiders' season opener, second on the team in a new offense with Jimmy Garoppolo under center. The Raiders defeated the Denver Broncos, 17-16.

DaRon Bland, CB, Dallas Cowboys
Bland opened the season with a Pick-6 to help lead the Cowboys to a dominant 40-0 win over the New York Giants on the road. Now in his second season in the NFL, he finished the Week 1 game with three tackles and the interception.

Derek Carr, QB, New Orleans Saints
Carr opened his career as the New Orleans Saints quarterback 1-0 after throwing for 305 yards on 23-of-33 completions. He led the Saints to a 16-15 home victory over the Tennessee Titans. Carr connected for one touchdown, and threw one interception.

Ronnie Rivers, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Rivers saw play time last weekend, but did not record a stat. The Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks 30-13 on the road.
