FRESNO, Calif. - 2023 senior Bulldog Daphne Guevremont has earned a spot on the 15-woman roster for Team Canada to represent the country at the World Aquatics Championships, to be held July 14-30 in Fukuoka, Japan, which is the first opportunity to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Guevremont and Team Canada get their action started on Tuesday (July 18) facing New Zealand.
It will be a Bulldog reunion in the pool that day as Guevremont will be going up against former Fresno State teammates Kaitlin Howarth (2020-pres.) and Emily Nicholson (2018-22) who are on the New Zealand roster.

Guevremont finished up her Bulldog career this spring, wrapping up a successful five-year career (2019-23) at Fresno State. Throughout her career, she earned All-American and All-Conference honors. She leaves Fresno State as the program's leader in career games played (115), assists (132), steals (114), and field blocks (59). She is second in program history with 174 career goals scored.
