2023-24 Equestrian schedule announced

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State head coach Eric Hubbard announced the competition schedule for the 2023-24 equestrian season on Tuesday. Fresno State enters its fifth season as a member of the Big 12, and 27th season as a varsity sport at the university.

The competition schedule features six home dates, including the Sept. 16 Red vs. Blue Scrimmage. The Sept. 16th weekend will also be alumni weekend as the program welcomes back its former student-athletes.

Fresno State opens up regular season competition in South Dakota, first facing the Jackrabbits on Friday, Oct. 6 in a true road meet. The 'Dogs will take on South Carolina the following day in a neutral site meeting.

The regular season home opener features Big 12 opponent TCU on Friday, Oct. 20. Fresno State has a back-to-back weekend of conference matchups at Baylor (Nov. 2) and at Oklahoma State (Nov. 3) before rounding out the fall slate at home against SMU on Friday, Nov. 17.

The spring season opens on the road at TCU (Feb. 2) and at SMU (Feb. 3). Fresno State closes out the regular season with three-straight home meets against Baylor (Feb. 16), UC Davis (Feb. 24) and Oklahoma State (Mar. 2).

The 2024 Big 12 Equestrian Championship is scheduled for Mar. 29-30 in Waco, Texas. The 2024 NCEA National Championship makes its return to the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fla. on April 11-13.

Parking and admission are free for all Fresno State Equestrian meets at the Student Horse Center.
