Bryant sets sights on NCAA Outdoor Championships

FRESNO, Calif. – With the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships underway at Mike A. Myers Stadium, Fresno State's Jordyn Bryant will take to the throwing ring on Saturday evening (5:35 p.m. PT). The junior from Oakland, California enters the event 15th this season among the 24 competitors in the field.

The discus will be one of three remaining field events to be contested on the final day of the championships.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT JORDYN BRYANT'S 2023

Landed a personal best of 55.42m/181-10 at the West Coast Relays on March 31, a mark that ranks fourth on Fresno State's all-time list.

Second straight year that a Bulldog has qualified for nationals in the discus, doing so with a mark of 54.25m/178-0.

Fourth Bulldog to reach nationals in the discus in the last 25 years.

Holds three Top 5 all-time marks at Fresno State: discus (No. 4), outdoor shot put (No. 5) and indoor shot put (No. 4).

Ranked 15th-highest in the NCAA among the 24 athletes in the field.
